Business Model Canvas

Key Partners

Our key partners would mainly be the business owners who sign their business up to our site, as they would use our site and in turn, be part of a partnership with us, it is a mutually beneficial relationship, which means both parties involved gain something from being in a partnership with one another.

Our sub-partners would be our customers as we are in effect, getting into a partnership with them when they sign up to our site, as we are trying to help them, we both get something out of the mutually beneficial relationship, them the knowledge, us their money.

Key Activities

Our key activities and services are;

  • Promoting resources for our user base to use

  • Helping our users gain skills to help them in the creative industry

  • Helping businesses find talented and capable individuals, ready and willing to go into employment

  • Promote small businesses

  • Helping disadvantaged young people who have the talent, but not the resources to further their career

  • Using our money to help charities and small businesses

Value Propositions

We instil value into the customer as we teach them and give them the resources that they need in order to gain valuable skills.

Our customers come to us with their problem, and their problem is not knowing the relevant skills in how to navigate the creative industry job market.

We are offering;

  • a free service, which includes the job/project finding service itself

  • a free trial of wwk+, which includes the job/project finding service, and a select few resources to give the prospective user an idea of what they would be paying for if they opted for the plus service

  • wwk+, a subscription service which gives you free rein of the whole website and all of its subsets

  •

Customer Relationships

Our customer expects us to establish and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with them as us, as well as the customer, involved gain something from being in a partnership with one another.

Once the service is up and running we will look for customers, obviously, the platform will be in project development and beta tested with a panel of anonymous testers, but other than that no customers just yet.

Customer Segments

Our most important customers would be students who are at a disadvantage/are underprivileged, we would focus on them as those are the customers we can help the most.

As the niche we focus on is quite specialised, it will be easy to find customers who fit that very specific mould.

Key Resources

Our value propositions require brand patents, copyright protection and data protection to keep ahead of competitors and stop any misfortune from befalling the company.

To start the company, there would be a huge need for funding and investors, as the service is a very money intensive service to start and to run as a whole.

Channels

We will reach our target market through advertising as well as social media, as those are the mediums that our target market will respond the best to.

We will conduct extensive market research around the channels we should be focusing on and more research along the lines of that but also alternative ways of advertising etc

Cost Structure

The most important costs in our business model are;

  • Website Hosting

  • Server Hosting

  • Paying contracted employees of the company

  • Paying our Guest Speakers

  • Paying the creatives who make the resources

Our business is more value driven than cost driven, fixed costs as well as variable costs are all inevitable.
